Brogent Technologies marked a major milestone in its expansion across Asia with the opening of ChangAn Above in Xi’an — the region’s largest flying theater.
Situated in the heart of the Great Tang All Day Mall, one of Xi’an’s most iconic cultural districts, this flagship attraction seamlessly blends state-of-the-art simulation technology with the rich heritage of the Tang Dynasty, offering an entertainment experience akin to a “Tang-style Universal Studios.”
Upon entering the venue, guests are immediately immersed in a vivid recreation of the Tang Dynasty. The pre-show experience unfolds through a series of immersive galleries that bring the art, poetry, and daily life of this golden era to life. Richly detailed environments combine cultural storytelling with visual design, interactive elements, and carefully crafted atmospheres, engaging all the senses and gradually drawing visitors deeper into the world of Tang culture in anticipation of the journey ahead.

The adventure culminates with Brogent’s flying theatre experience, which features 120 seats, a monumental dome screen, multi-channel sound, and a suite of multisensory effects — including wind, scent, mist, vibration, and synchronized lighting that work together to create a fully immersive journey. Guided by the sound of the pipa, guests ascend to a flight platform 10 meters above the ground, and a spectacular 180-degree takeoff rotation launches them into breathtaking aerial views of Tang-era landscapes, architecture, and cultural scenes. From the vast Guíde Plateau and the ethereal beauty of Jiuzhai in Fly Over China, to the ancient walls of Yongning Gate, the lush Tang Paradise gardens, and the vibrant nighttime glow of the Great Tang All Day Mall, guests soar through time, experiencing the grandeur, vibrancy, and spirit of one of China’s most remarkable eras.
